Maximum : 100 Marks questions carry equal marks. 1. What is preamble of the Constitution and how far it is helpful in interpreting the Constitution ? Is preamble a part of the Constitution ? Refer to decided cases. 2. Do you agree with the statement that the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2003 has almost overhauled the Citizenship Act, 1955. - Explain. 3. Explain the power of judicial review under the Indian Constitution. 4. Art ยท 14 forbids class legislation but permits reasonable classification. - Elucidate. 5. Critically evaluate the concept of economic justice enshrined in Part - IV of the Indian Constitution. 6. Examine the special importance of Art 21 and its non - suspendability during proclamation of emergency. 7. Explain the use of Tribunals in resolving the inter - state water disputes. 8. Examine and compare the jurisdiction of High Courts and the Supreme Court under Art 226 and Art 32 of the Indian Constitution 9. Write short note on any TWO : (a) Doctrine of severability. (b) Election Commission. (c) Basic structure. (d) Ordinance making power.
