1. Write two sentences for each of the following words to bring out their

11. (a) Explain the methods of technical report.

12. (a) Write a list of eight recommendations to overcome accidents in a chlorine
plant.
Or
(b) Write eight instructions to maintain computers in a good working
condition.
13. (a) Imagine that you have to appear for an interview at New Delhi. Prepare
a checklist of eight important activities that you would like to do before
leaving for the interview. Give a suitable title to your checklist.

(b) Develop the following hints into a paragraph of 200 words and give a
suitable title.

14. (a) You are the Purchase offices of Bright Engineering Company,
Mumbai-25. You have already called for quotations to purchase
15 tables, 20 ‘S’ type chairs and 10 revolving chairs. You have chosen
Sarna Furniture Mart, 10, Radhakrishna Salai, Chennai-5. Place your
order with the company mentioning the terms and conditions of the
transaction, place and date of delivery, mode of payment, type of packing,
mode of transport, discount and other details.
Or
(b) As the Managing Director of your company, you want to improve the
training and marketing skills of your Sales Trainees. A reputed training
centre offers various courses to enhance the skills of sales men. Enquire
the centre about the list of courses, duration of each course, course
content, fee structure and other details. Assume suitable names and
addresses.
15. (a) Write an essay on the merits and demerits of technology.
