Answer any FIVE questions from Section A.
Each question carries 8 marks.

SECTION B - (4 × 15 = 60 marks)
9. (a) Bring out the differences between prokaryotes and eukaryotes.

10. (a) Give an account of the salient features of polyploids.

(b) Describe the special types of chromosomes.
