1.Draw a Non- inverting amplifier circuit using an operational amplifier with a voltage gain of 10.
2. how is an operational amplifier used as a subtractor to subtract two voltages?
3. What is the binary and BCD equivalent of 10010?
4. Realize an OR gate using only NAND gates.
5. In a CRO the number of divisions covered by one cycle of an input waveform is 2. If the time per division setting is 5ms compute the frequency of the signal.
6. What is the resolution of a 4-bit Analog to Digital converter if the range of input is 0-1 v?
7. Draw the characteristic of a photo diode. What is Dark current?
8. What is Break-over voltage and holding current with respect to a SCR?
9. What will be the contents in the accumulator after the following program segment is executed?

11. (a) Design an operational amplifier circuit to produce an output given by the expression , Vo=3, V1 -4 V2 where V1 V2 are the inputs.

(b) ) Design an operational amplifier circuit to produce an output given by the expression, Vo= (, V1 +V2 +V3)/3, where the above v’s are the inputs.
12. (a) Draw a 8 to 1 multiplexer circuit and explain the principle of operation and give its truth table.

(b) Draw a modulo -12 asynchronous counter using JK Flip flop and explain its operation and give its count sequence
13. (a) Draw a block diagram of a CRO and explain how it is used for the measurement of voltage and frequency.

(b) Draw the block diagram of a digital voltmeter and explain the principle of of measurement of an applied i/p voltage in a digital form
14 (a) Draw the circuit and explain the operation of a single phase fullwave controlled rectifier with the associated waveform.

(b) Explain the principle of operation of a power inverter with block diagram
15 (a) What are the various types of instruction available in 8085 microprocessor? Give two examples for each type and write their function

(b) Explain the technique behind the control of speed and direction of a stepper motor using a microprocessor.
