SECTION I
Answer any four of the following questions in a maximum of 600 words each. Each question carries 20 marks.

1. Criticallye valuate Easton's General Systems Theory.
2. Define civil society and explain its relationship with state.
3. Critically examine various forms of Nationalism.
4. What are the methods and strategies for community identities ? Explain.
5. Critically elaborate the Environment debate.
6. Critically evaluate problems and prospects of Participative Development.
SECTION II
7. Write short notes on any two of the following in a maximum of 300 words each. Each carries 5 marks. (2x5=I0)
(i) Human Rights
(ii) Comparative Method
(iii) Globalisation of Science and Technology
(iv) Weber's Model of Bureaucracy
SECTION III
8. Answer the following in a maximum of 500 words. (10)

OR
