1. How would you asses the newsworthiness of an event? illustrate with suitable examples. (20)

2. Discuss the growing importance of crime reporting in television channels. What care should a reporter take while reporting crime stories? (20)

3. Analyse the need and importance of development reporting in the present times, citing suitable examples. (20)

4. What is a feature and how is it different from a news report? Illustrate. (20)

5. Newspaper editing is both an art and a craft. Describe the role of an editor with appropriate examples. (20)

6. How is writing for radio different from that for print media? Illustrate with suitable examples. (20)

7. Describe the news gathering set-up of a daily newspaper. (20)

8. Examine the role of technology in the planning and designing of a newspaper today. (20)

9. "Interview is a triangle of trust among the interviewer, interviewee and the audience." Discuss the various do's and dont's of an interview in the light of the above statement. (20)
