PART A — (5 x 8 = 40 marks)
Answer any FIVE questions in about 200 words each. All questions carry equal marks. 1. Global Depository Receipt — Explain. 2. Give the nature and varieties of Global Debt Investment instruments. 3. Explain ‘‘Port Folio Investment’’. 4. What do you mean by Euro issue? Explain. 5. ‘NRI investment in India’ — Explain. 6. Give a detailed account on ‘‘Tokyo Stock Exchange’’. 7. What is the concept and need for Foreign Direct Investment? 8. Explain Global Equity Investment.
PART B — (4 x 15 = 60 marks)
Answer any FOUR of the following in about 400 words each. 9. Explain Global Investment and give the opportunities and need for it. 10. Explain Equity Instruments issues by Indian concern. 11. Give SEBI guide lines for foreign institutional investment in India. 12. Indian Investment abroad — Explain. 13. Explain the factors influencing FDI and Indian efforts to attract FDI. (Foreign Direct Investment). 14. Explain the Major Global Investment Markets. 15. What are the factors influencing Foreign Portfolio Investment (FPI)? and what are Indian efforts to attract FPI?
