1. Critically analyse the agrarian structure in South India during 8th - 12th centuries. (Marks20)
2. Write a note on social organisation in India during 8th to 12th centuries. (Marks20)
3. Give an account of the invasions of Muhammad Ghori. Why did the Turks emerge victorious? (Marks20)
4. Discuss the salient features of Bhakti movement in India. What was its influence on Sufi movement? (Marks20)
5. Give a detailed account of the economy of the Vijayanagar empire. (Marks 20)
6. Trace the rise of Mongols in Central Asia. Give a brief account of their conflict with the Delhi sultans.(Marks20)
7 . Discuss the central and provincial administration under the Delhi Sultans. (Marks20)
8. Discuss with suitable examples the new features of architecture introduced by the Turks in India. (Marks20)
9. Give a detailed account of the craft production and its organisation during the Sultanate period. (Marks20)
10. Write short notes on any two of the following in around 300 words each : (Marks10+10)

(ii) Alauddin Khalji's market control policy
(iii) Nadu and Valanadu
(iv) Successor states of the Delhi Sultanate
