(i) Haemophilia is an X-linked recessive disorder. A normal woman whose father was haemophilic marries a normal man. They have a haemophilic son. The man claims his wife has been unfaithful. If you were a judge, how would you rule and why? (3 marks)
(ii) In humans, having attached earlobes is recessive to having free earlobes. A woman and her husband both have free earlobes, although each happens to have a father with attached earlobes. Is it possible for this woman and man to have a child with attached earlobes? Please explain by indicating the genotypes of the parents and child. (3 marks)
