6. (a) The M, N and MN blood groups are determined by two alleles, LM and LN. The ABO blood groups are determined by three alleles. The Rh+ (rhesus positive) blood group is caused by a dominant allele R of a different gene. In a court case concerning a paternity dispute, each of the two men claimed three children to be his own.
