Q.2 Define the term ‘Industrial Relations’ and examine the factors affecting
industrial relations?

Q.3 Examine the problems of Trade Union Movement in India?

Q.4 Discuss the nature of industrial conflicts. What measures would you
suggest for the attainment of industrial peace in the country?

Q.5 Define ‘Factory’ under Factories Act 1948, what are the health and welfare
provisions under the Factories Act, 1948?

Q.6 Explain the various deductions which can be made by an employer from
the wages of an employee under the payment of Wages Act, 1936?

Q.7 Explain the various authorities for the settlement of industrial disputes
under the Industrial Disputes Act 1947. Explain their functions in brief?

Q.8 (a) When is an employer not liable to pay compensation to a worker
under the workmen’s Compensation Act, 1923?
(b) What is the procedure for getting a trade union registered under the
Trade Union Act, 1926?
