1.What is BIBO stability ?What is the condition to be satisfied for ther stability?

2.Differentiate energy and power signals.

3.Find the Z transformer of finite sequence x(n) ={3,4,5,6,7}

4.Define region of convergence.

5.Define N point DFT pair.

6.Calculate the number of multiplications in 64 point DFT using FFT.

7.What is meant by prewrapping?Why it is employed?

8.What is Gibbs oscillation?

9.What is meant by parallel logic unit?

10.What is meant by circular addressing mode?

11(a) (i) Describe the different types of signals with an example.

(ii) Determine the impulse response and the unit step response of the systems described by the difference equation.

(b) (i) Disuss in detail the magnitude response ,phase response and time delay.

(ii)Describe the stability of the system described by

12(a) (i)State and explain the properties of Z transform

(ii)Find the inverse z-transform if
X (z) z/3z2-4z+1 when ROC (1) |z|>1 and (2) |z|>1/3 using the long division method.

(b) (i)Describe the process of discrete convolution and correlation.

(ii) With a suitable example ,show that the results obtained by both ovrlap –add and overlap –save fast convolution methods are identical

13 (a) (i) Draw the flow group of an 8 –point DIF,FFT and explain.

(ii) Given x(n) ={0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7} and X (k) using DITFFT algorithm

OR

(b) (i) Using decimation –in time draw the butterfly line diagram for 8 point FFT calculations

(ii)Given x(n)= 2n and N =8 ,find X (k) using DIF FFT algorithm.

14 (a) (i) Obtain the transformation formula for the bilinear transformation

(ii) Design a digital Butterworth filter to meet the constraint

(ii) Explain how the memory address of the operand is obtained in MMR addressing modes?
