UNIT-I
1.What do you understand by Half-duplex transmission? Explain various transmission channel used in computer networks.
2.(A) What do you understand by Client-server computing? Explain.
(b)What is a modem? What are its functions? Also, describes various types of Modems .
UNIT –II
3. What is OSI reference model? How it is different from TCP /IP? Outline the functions of each. Layer of OSl reference model.
4. (A) What do you understand by routing and flow control ? Explain

5. What do you understand by network Security? What Can be the possible threat; to the security. Suggest some countermeasures to these threats

7. (a) Distinguish between home page and web page.
(b) Is HTML a programming language?
(c) Build a simple HTML document to illustrate its basic structure elements.
8. What arc tags in HTML? Illustrate various tags used in HTML along with their syntaxes for creating tables, frames and links.
