SECTION A — (5 ? 8 = 40 marks)
Answer any FIVE of the following.
1. List out the various essentials of valid contract.
2. What is effect of a minor's misrepresentation of his age while entering into an agreement?
3. What are the various ways in which the agency is created?
4. Distinguish between conditions and warranties.
5. What are the functions of consumer protection council?
6. Explain the liabilities of parties to an Accommodation bill.
7. What are the exception to non-registration of the firm?
8. Define a private company and state the special previleges which it enjoys under the companies Act.
SECTION B — (4 × 15 = 60 marks)
Answer any FOUR of the following.
9. Discuss briefly the remedies allowed by Indian
contract Act, of the Aggrieved persons incase of breach of contract.
10. List out the circumstances under which surety is discharged.
11. How a contract of sale is made? State the necessary formalities of such a contract briefly.
12. Distinguish between a promissory note and bill of exchange.
13. Define partnership what are its essential feature.
14. Discuss the various stages in the formation of a company.
15. Discuss in details the contents and the form of a prospectus.
