1. Define Public Relations. Explain its relevance in the corporate sector. (20)

2. Define the term "Public". What would be the kinds of 'publics' for a company dealing in medicines? (20)

3. A PR person has to be versatile. Comment on this keeping in view the different qualities which a PR professional should possess. (20)

4. What are the different opportunities and challenges which the globalisation has presented before Public Relations? Support your answer with suitable examples. (20)

5. What is the role of communication technology in the changing scenario of Public Relations? Discuss. (20)

6. What in your view would be the communication strategy for an educational institution to attract best talent? Discuss also the choice of media. (20)

7. What are the various stages in a PR campaign? Discuss the process in detail. (20)

8. Public opinion plays an important role in Public Relations. Describe it in the context of the Indian National Movement. (20)

9. Law and ethics go hand in hand. Describe the code of ethics adopted by the Public Relations Society of India. (20)

10. Write short notes on any two of the following: 2x10=20

(i) Verbal communication and its importance

(ii) Press Relations

(iii) Survey techniques in PR

(iv) PR and perception study
