2. (a) How soils are classified according to their hydrological properties.

3 Prepare the proposal for development of watershed.
4. Describe the detachment and transportation of soil particles in water erosion.
5. Explain the Universal Soil Loss Equation for predicting the soil loss.
6. Explain the following measures to control erosion
(i) Bunding
(ii) Furrowing
7. How would you identify the various classes for land use capability classification?
8. Discuss in detail people participation and administrative requirements in planning
of watershed management activities.
