1. (a) Develop the nature of travel demand from the fundamental theories.
(b) What are the assumptions made to reduce the complexity of travel demand
function from the user utility theory and economic theories? [8+8]
2. (a) What is a trip? What factors affect the trip making behavior of a person?
Explain.
(b) Differentiate between aggregate and disaggregate models of trip generation by
explaining the variables involved in each case. [8+8]
