1. Annotate following passages choosing atleast TWO from each group.

GROUP-A

6. Sketch the character of Antonio in The Duchess of Malfi.

7. Give an account of the Senecan devices in The Spanish Tragedy.

8. Consider Dekker's Shoemaker's Holidav as a London comedy.

9. Bring out the Renaissance elements in Doctor Faustus.

10. In The Duchess of Malfi" The good perish with the bad, but human dignity is affirmed not only in percept, but character and action - Elucidate.

11. Examine The Faerie Queene as an allegory.

12. Sidney's reactions to the objections against poetry.

13. Discuss the aptness of the title, Volpone or the Fox.

14. Describe Utopia as a moral fable.
