1. Describe the major provisions related to exports under the Export - Import Policy of Government of lndia. (20)
2. You are exporting your goods under CIF contract. Enumerate the major documents required for this purpose. Discuss the features of Commercial Invoice and Bill of tading. (4+16)
3. What is letter of credit ? Discuss various kinds of letter of credit. (5+15)
4. What is post-shiprnent finance ? Explain various types of post-shipment finance available to Indian exporters. (4+16)
5. Why is quality control required for export cargo ? Discuss various methods of quality control and pre-shipment inspection. (5+15)
6. Explain various types of losses under cargo insurance with suitable exarnples. (20)
7. Describe the export promotion measures related to expansion of production base for exports. (20)
8. Why is customs clearance of export cargo required? Explain the procedures of customs clearance of export cargo alongwith the documentation formalities (5+15)
9. Write notes on any two of the following : (10+10)

(ii) Export under deferred payments

(iv) Tax exemptions provided to Indian exporters
