Time : 1 1/2 Hours. Max. Marks : 45
SECTION - A
1. Answer question (a) and any seven questions of the remaining within four lines each : (1+2x7=15)

c) Write the meaning of term V.P.P.
d) Write the exxentials of good communication.
e) What do you mean by stub ?
f) Expand the term PS.
g) Write the need of PF to employees.
h) What is subject line ?
i) What is a letter of credit ?
j) What are circular letters ?
SECTION - B
Answer any two questions from this Section, each carries 15 marks. (2x15=30)
2. As a Sales Manager of Karnataka Handy Crafts, Shimoga, Write a reply letter for the complaint received for the damaged articles from 'Big Bazar' Mysore promising to replace them immediately.
3. Write a 'circular letter' for the opening ceremony of 'Sakala Jewellers' No. 28. Avenue Road, Bangalore, intimating 1 gram gold offer for every Rs. 5,000/purchase.
4. Write a letter to the Bank Manager of 'Bank of Baroda', No. 45, Vallabha Road, Kamakshi Palya, Bangalore-33 from 'Sukdev Traders', requesting to grant Rs. 15 lakhs of over draft facility.
5. Write a collection letter to 'Apanabikar Traders' regarding their long due of Rs. 80,000/- requesting them to pay as early as possible.
