Answer any five of the following questions in about 10 lines each. Each question carries five marks. 5x5=25

2. Analyse the limitations of performance appraisal.

3. Briefly explain the causes of fatigue.

4. State the reasons for transfer.

5. Briefly explain the cause for employee grievance.

6. State the sources of recruitment.

7. Briefly explain the objectives of compensation.

8. Analyse the problems involved in placement.

9. Briefly explain the different methods of on-th-job training.

SECTION - C

Answer any 3 of the following questions in about three pages each. Each question carries 15 marks. 3x15=45

10. Explain the duties and resposibilities of Human Resource Manager.

11. Explain briefly the stage in employee selection process.

12. Briefly explain the different methods of performance appraisal.

13. Explain the different methods of employee promotion and transfer.

14. Explain the benefits of employee training.
