(ii) The advantages of consumer education. [3]

(a) What are the physiological effects of noise pollution? [4]

(b) A scheme of labelling 'Eco-Mark' on products was introduced in 1990. Mention six objectives of this scheme. [6]

(a) Describe briefly the man-made causes of desertification. [4]

(b) The primary objectives of social forestry were recommended by the National Commission on Agriculture, Government of India, in 1976. Mention six objectives of this agricultural programme. [6]
