(a) Make a plot of the melting points and boiling points of materials of different bonding characteristics as a function of their bond length. (a) Mention and explain various steps to determine the structure of crystals. (b) State how to determine lattice parameter of a cubic crystal by the diffraction method. [8+8] 3.
