1. What is window procedure in Windows programming?
2. When the WM_PAINT message is invoked in a windows program?
3. What is the use of class wizard in VC++ ?
4. Define application framework of MFC.
5. How the menu item in the MFC are enabled and disabled?
6. What is the purpose of update command user interface handlers?
7. What is a class factory?
8. What is meant by the process of in-place activation of OLE?
9. What is the need of the htons Winsock function?
10. What is the use of the ping command in networking?
PART B – (5 X 16 =80 MARKS)
11. (a) Explain the architecture of a windows program. Explain the various structures
used in the Windows program. (10+6)

(b) Write a Windows program to (8+8)
(i) Display some text at the centre of the window.
(ii) Display the mouse coordinates as the mouse is scrolled.
12. (a) Explain the various Windows common dialogs available in VC++.

15. (a) Explain the various MFC ISAPI server extension classes available in VC++.
Implement an ISAPI server extension program to process the details of book order form sent by a client. (8+8)
