Last year, i was having similar search for my sister and I came across UGAT examination.
This is a national level exam, conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association) - The same body takes MAT (Management Apptitude Test)every year.
The syllabus of this exam is fairly easy and its ranking is accepted at all major management colleges across India.
I had checked all other options and this one is the best one, because it is recognised nationwide.
You can get more detail about it on
(* I am sorry to say that the test for this year is already passed).
Other Career options includes
- BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application)
- BSC IT (Information technology)
- BSC (Microbiology)
Best of luck.

Bachelor's degree programmes in business administration/ business studies/ management studies are called by various names by the different universities. Hence, you are likely to come across BBA, BBS, BMS,BBM courses, all of which are more or less the same thing.
Normally, there is an objective-type entrance test for admission to BBA/ BBS/ BMS courses which evaluates English language, quantitative aptitude and reasoning skills. However, the basic focus would be to seek admission into BBA BBS/ BMS courses offered by a government recognized university. There is really no ranking or assessment of colleges for such programmes, but every university would have its share of prominent colleges which attract the cream of students, and such colleges are usually rated among the best.
All specialisation or fields of management can be good, but when you choose a specialisation it should be-in-the context of your-abilities and personality. For example, finance is a good specialisation if you have strong numerical and analytical skills, while marketing is ideal for those with strong interpersonal communication skills who are open minded, comfortable with numbers and have commercial awareness. The decision on a specialisation needs to be taken much later. So as of now focus on trying for the best colleges for your Bachelor's degree.
