You can even try contacting your service provider and provide details of your IMEI number and complaint number.

Hi,
As you say, you have the IMEI number and have also given a complaint, then either you can wait or else check out what Mr. Vivek Ram Mahatre did when he lost his mobile phone.

You need not go to the police station. But anyhow you went.

You just send an e-mail to cop@vsnl.net with the information given below:
1)Your Name :
2)Your Address :
3)Phone Model :
4)Manufacturing co.:
5)Last used number :
6)Your e-mail :
7)Missed date :
8)IMEI Number :

You just give these information to the e-mail cop@vsnl.net

one thing i want to tell you is when the mobile was not in your hands then the person who will gain that mobile will "throw out the SIM" so it is just difficult to find your mobile and we may think that by using the IMEI no. we can find him but that is satellite mobile tracking method which is just available at diffance academy only.
