    How to make "Aam panna"? Can anybody give me the recipe?

    Hi Shwah,

    Here is an easy to make and quick recipe for Aam Panna.

    You will need:

    4 medium size raw mangoes
    4 Tbsp sugar
    Black salt and salt (according to taste)
    2 green chillies (I like my panna a bit spicy!)
    A handful of fresh mint leaves
    2 Tsp of roasted cumin seeds
    About 1/2 tsp of freshly ground pepper


    Method:

    Just boil the raw mangoes in an open vessel till they become tender. Allow to cool, peel and take out the seed/stone.

    Add sugar, green chillies and mint leaves to the pulp and blend it well with a blender.

    You can store this in a bottle and refrigerate and use it as and when required.

    Fill one third of a tall glass with this mixture and add water. Add salt, black salt, roasted cumin seeds and black pepper. Add ice cubes generously!

    Stir and garnish with fresh mint leaves and a few crunchy 'bundis'. Your tangy and spicy summer cooler is ready.

    Aam Panna besides being a refreshing drink gives excellent protection against sun strokes and dehydration during summers.

    All that you need,

    1. 6 medium sized Green Mango
    2. 33/4th cup Water
    3. 1 tsp dry-roasted and grounded Cumin Seed
    4. 1/2 tsp Red chili Powder
    5. 1 tea spoon Salt
    6. 3 table spoon Sugar
    7. 3 table spoon chopped Mint Leaves
    8. 12 crushed Ice-cubes

    Procedure:
    Place the mangoes with water to cover in a sauce-pan and bring to boil. Simmer for 10 minutes. Drain off the water and then peel, remove seed and pulp the mango with a spoon. Place the pulp in a deep bowl. Add water, sugar, salt, chili and cumin. Whisk thoroughly. Stir in the mint and whisk again. Transfer it to a jug. Serve chilled with crushed ice.

    Aam Panna : Instant Raw Mango Juice. Can be made in just 10 minutes and reday to drink.

    Ingredients:

    Raw Mangoes - 2 large (Rajapuri variety)
    Cummin powder - 2 teaspoons.
    Asofotida - one pinch.
    Black salt - to taste. (Optional)
    Salt - 1 tea spoon.
    Black pepper 10 - crushed to powder.
    Sugar - 1/2 cup

    Procedure:
    Wash the mangoes and boil for 10 minutes. Keep it aside to cool. Then peel, mash and strain he pulp. Add black salt, crushed pepper powder, cummin powder, a pinch of asafoetida,and sugar. Mix it well till sugar is dissolved. Dilute this mixture with six glasses of chilled water. Stir well and serve.

    First I would like to tell you that this is very good drink especially during summers it gives immense relief from the heat. To make aam panna you will need the following :

    1) 6 medium size raw mangoes. (Known as Ambi)
    2) 6 Tbsp sugar (According to taste just to make it taste little sweet)
    3) Black salt and salt (According to taste)
    4) A handful of fresh mint leaves
    5) About 1/2 tsp of freshly ground pepper
    6) A little of bhuna hua jeera.

    Preparation :
    Just boil the raw mangoes (Ambi) in an open vessel till they become tender. Allow to cool, peel and take out the seed/stone and collect the pulp of the raw mango.

    Add sugar, mint leaves, and jeera to the pulp and blend it well with a blender.

    You can store this in a bottle and refrigerate and use it as and when required.

    Fill one third of a tall glass with this mixture and add water. Add salt, black salt, and ice cubes to make it cool.

    Raw Mangoes - 2 large
    Black salt - to taste. (Optional)

    Sugar - 1/2 cup

    1.boil the raw mango in cooker without water, on steam.(container of mango should now contain water).
    2. remove the pulp of mango.
    3. add salt as per taste and sugar.
    4. add little water, syrup would be prepared.
    5. server by adding more quantity of water into it.

    Note. If mango is not boiled on steam, but in water, then the syrup won't be concentrated.

    Refreshing cool Drink for Summer: Aam Panna

    For preventing dehydration in summer use Aam Panna. It will help you to regain water level in your body. Here is the recipe for aam panna.

    Time required for Preparation: 20-30 mins.

    Ingredient:
    - 1 Kg Medium sized mangoes
    - 1/2 cup sugar
    - 2 tbsp rock salt
    - 1 tbsp roasted cumin seeds
    - Red chilli (according to taste)
    - A handful fresh mint leaves

    Procedure
    - Cut Mangoes into 3-4slices
    - Cook Mango in pressure cooker with one cup of water. After the pressure cooker whitles once, turn off the heat.
    - Open cooker after 10 mins and leave it cool
    - Graind sugar and roasted cumin seeds
    - Dice mint leaves
    - Crush mango pulp. Discard skin and seeds
    - Puree mango pulp until it get smooth
    - Take a bowl and blend sugar, salt, roasted cumin leaves, chili powder meant leaves and mango puree.
    - Store in a clean bottle

    To Serve

    Add 4-5 tsp of mixture into a glass of cold water with some ice cubes. Drink it
