Animation is an art of bringing something of like by using special effects. In India the Animation Courses have bright chances for growth. Animation is becoming essence of the time. If any one do animation course then he can enter in following fields:
1. Advertisement
2. Animated Games Development
3. Cartoon Network Programming
4. Film Industry
5. Newspaper or other print industry.
6. Virtual tours or Virtual Reality.

Animation in India is growing day by day. The boom in this field has affected all fields. In the year 2009-10, animation industry will provide job to about 3 lakh professionals. Presently Indian animation industry is having a turn over of Rs 1, 740 crore and it will increase to Rs. 3,900 crore by 2013.

Hello Kartik,
Since you are interested to join an Animation course, let me tell you that it is a very prospective career option that you can pursue. There has always been a great demand for animator and animation engineer. You can also expect high remuneration package once you get employed after successfully completing the course. However, it is not easy for all to take Animation as a career. It demands excellent creativity and artistic skills on part of the candidate so that he or she might be eligible to successfully undergo and complete the training and thereby excel in the industry.
Let me tell you that even though the industry pays high salary package to the qualified professionals, it is also one of the very expensive course to seek admission. Usually a qualified candidate may seek employment in the TV channels, marketing industry, educational institutes, graphics and printing, advertising, fashion industry, gaming industry etc.
If you have the artistic skills in you, then you are straight-away eligible to enroll in an animation course. You may however need to qualify in the 10+2 or its equivalent exam and computer programming knowledge in C++ and Java is often desired in most institutes.

Animation is a great career as i have seen many of my friends getting success in this filed. Animators are very much demand now-a-days as the demand for 3D and 2D effects has increased from 3-4 years. There are very good or i must say some of the best classes that offers course in animation.To name a few:
Arena animation,Framebox,St.Angelos,etc.
