    Orange or red fruits and vegetables like tomatoes are very rich in beta-corotene and lycopene, this is the reason for red and orange color. Green vegetables like broccoli has color green due to it contains much beta-carotene and vitamin C. Red Grapes, blueberries, respberries and plus contains proanthocyanidins and bioflavanols, so they have different colors. Proanthocyanidins is know as anti-cancer and ant-allergic. Mushrooms, banana, garlic, onion has white color due to phytochemicals callicine. This chemical is very beneficial to cure TV. Green color group cucumber, melon contains lutein and indoles these chemicals are beneficial to protect us from cancel and other problems.

    Every color of the fruit or vegetable is very important to our body and for the strong immune system we need all these color in the form of fruits and vegetables.

    Green Foods –Green beans, Green cabbage,Green grapes,Green onion,Green pears,
    --Green foods are especially good for the circulatory system. They contain many minerals and B-complex vitamins.

    Red Foods – tomatoes, watermelon, Pomegranate
    --Red food prevents from the effects of sun damage on the skin.

    White/Green Foods – onions, garlic, celery, pears, chives

    --White and green combination foods contain a variety of phytochemicals. Garlic and onions contain the anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal phytochemical, Add garlic and onions in your meals to reduce the effects of toxicity of high fat meats.

    Purple foods are good for protecting the brain. They also help to control cholesterol intake by the blood stream when one is given a high cholesterol diet. Examples of purple fruits and vegetables include onions, blueberries, blackberries, grapes and purple cabbage.
