I donot know about the road route fromKerala to Puttparthi.
But having been toPuttaparthi very often from Tamilnadu,I can say that there are plenty of reasonably priced hotels with boarding and lodging.
You can get vegetarian meals in plenty.
In fact,I don't think there are many hotels IN puttaparthi that have non vegetarian food,since Swami advocates vegetarianism.
Tea stalls with tiffin are open early in the morning since people line up very early for nagarasankirthan.
