Hi win002,
I dint exactly understand your problem. You said you are working in a private software company. If you are planning to do a M.Tech in IIT along with the job, I dont think there is any scope for that. Even sponsored M.Tech is given only for core companies not through software.
If you are willing to leave the job, then you are already on that road by preparing for GATE. GATE just require your basics, so strengthen them.
All the Best.

Hi,
I suggest you in taking part time coaching at evening. If you want full time coaching, you can prefer ACE Coaching Center at Hyderabad. Self preperation will not help much for GATE. You have to take coaching at some training center. If you are an OC Candidate, you need to get atleast less than 500 rank to get admission into a good branch in M.Tech at IIT.

hello,
It is a good idea. It is because after completing B.E. many studnets prefer to go for higher degrees like MS or GMAT etc.
The very first thing to get into an IIT is that you have to get a really good percentile like atleast 97 -99. Then only you can have the option of selecting the desired subject.
Do you have such patience because if you get low percentile you may get admissions in the newly established IITs, But getting into THE IITs would be very tough.
The other option is that you switch to a company which have Mtech tieups programmes with the IITs.
best of luck

Hi win002, You can persue the Mtech from IIT. You need to score well in the Gate. Try to spend more time studying and preparing for Gate. You have to score atleast 98 to 99 %. Try to score maximum marks in all sections of the Gate Exam. Most of my friends lots the IIT Seats due to score highest marks in one section of paper and some less marks in other section of Paper. Try to concenrate in all the Sections marks. Try to inform your lead if he is helpfull person. So that he can divert some work to other colleagues and you will not get strained in office. This will help you in concentrating more in Gate Preperations. Try to Perform some monks tests. I think this will help you in acheising your goal. All the Best for your future. Try Hard... Ramesh
