Dhalia is most suitable food for babies. Roast small amount of Wheat and boil with milk, add sugar and pinch of salt, dhalia is ready. Boiled egg with bread soaked in milk is also highly recommended.

Since two-year old babies have good set of teeth to chew, you need not make anything special for them for breakfast.
Whatever you will be making for breakfast for others in the family, like roti, vegetables, bread with butter and/or jam , idlis, etc.can be given to your babies, which are fine and healthy too. Change the menus; do not give them the same item every day. By this way, a habit of eating healthy food will be developed in the babies, and will help them when they start going to school. You can pack these items in their lunch box instead of chips, biscuits, chocolates, pastries, etc.
Avoid giving them oily food like puris, dosas for breakfast.
You can also give them Cornflakes. But it is better to make them eat the normal food items that are made for breakfast.
From the additional nutrition point of view, you can give them some cornflakes, fruits, carrots, fruit juices, milk, biscuits, etc. during the course of the day.

Try to give idli and dosas with different tastes. Do not give apple, it leads to cough. Start only from 4 years. Give chapatis with milk and sugar.
