It is the autobigraphy of the famous Manchester United winger, George Best, whose life of success and fame was as short lived as that of a mosquito. A very talented and brilliant player of his time, he ruined his career by entertaining gambling, womanising and alcoholism. In his native Northern Ireland, the admiration for him was summed up by the local saying:" Maradona good, Pele better, George Best."

The Good, the Bad and the Bubbly is autobiography by George Best.

He was a Northern Irish professional football player.
He had played for Manchester United.
He was born in 1946 and died in 2005 at the age of 59 due to multiple organ failure brought on by a kidney infection, a side effect of the immuno-suppressive drugs he was required to take after a liver transplant. In 2007, Gentlemen's Quarterly named him as one of the 50 most stylish men of the past 50 years.
