BCCI Has divided player in 3 categories dependant on their experience.
Like A,B,&C. So every player is categorized into three grades- A,B&C. Those who are senior one are in grade A get Rs 1 Crore per annum, those who are less senior are in grade B get 50 lacs while those who are new are in grade C get 25 lacs. Apart from this the match fees includes Rs 7 lacs for a test match, Rs 3 lacs for a one day match and Rs 2 lacs for a T-20 match. Those players of the squad who are not part of the on field team get only half of the match fees. The board also keeps rewarding players for their outstanding performances and significant victories like the world cup or test series wins.
A is the present International team who professionally plays for there country on International level and the get about Rs 1 Crore (India)
B is the Team which plays on National Level and thy get about Rs 50 lacs
C is the team which plays on state level and they get about Rs. 25 lacs per year
As per the latest agreement entered into by the players to BCCI the match fees at home will be Rs 200,000 for a Test and Rs 160,000 for an ODI. Abroad, it will be Rs 240,000 for a Test and Rs 185,000 for an ODI.
