Hello Anshuman,
BE is a better course to go with in present day situation.You can even go for b Tech and choose any branch you like and can go with your taste there.You can opt for computers or electrical or mechanical and even Civil engineering.If you think that this is a routine thing then you can choose an other feild such as BA or BCom and completye your degree.You can then choose either MBA or Civils if you want to serve with in the country or Defense services if you want to serve your country.It all depends on your feilds of intrest to choose the required path to travel.But be careful as your decision effects your future and has more Impact on it.

B.E. is not the only course for you to opt.
First of all,You need to think whether you have interest for field of engineering.You need to judge if you have right aptitude for engineering or medical.You need to think whether you are good at Maths or Bio.There are several courses you can opt if you have really interest for them.

2)Journalling and mass-communication
3)Merchant navy
4)Diploma in Film and TV production
5)Hotel Managemet

You are holding enough marks in mathematics to join in Engineering. If you really don't like to study engineering then you join for some arts groups. And now a days there are so many courses available.
Fashion designing
Aircraft maintenance
nano technology
Bio Technology
Micro Biology
Cyber crime studies
Study in cinema industry (SRM University)

B.E is a good option to proceed with in your career. However, you can go for creative courses like fashion designing, mulltimedia, graphics designing etc in case you wish to go for something different.
