Blogger has limited features, but at other hand, wordpress has unlimited features. You can use your own feature if you are an expert, and this makes the addon features unlimited.
Below are some specifications which differ wordpress from blogger :
- Wordpress has a unique admin panel (/wp-admin), while blogges has no such admin panel.
- Wordpress has a self hosting option with your domain. You can install this from website's control panel using AutoInstaller.

Blogger is from Google and Wordpress is a differnt host one. Blogger or Blogspot has limited feature built in, recently Google has increased extra options and themes in Blogger.
Wordpress is of free with limited features too, at the same time you can get huge hosting, extra space, pages, structure, designing, gadgets, themes and other add on features with nominal fees.
Blogger or Blogspot you can display your Google ads (if you have adsense a/c) freely, whereas in Wordpress you have to pay to display Google ads.

Like everything that is technology related, I have tried both of these out. Personal preference, I like Wordpress better than Blogger. That does not mean that you will not like Blogger. In all honestly, it is a great blog software for people whom are just starting out. It may even be good for a season blogger to.

*. Ability to Add Adsense
Blogger is for some people, but not everyone. It is a perfect blogif you are starting out. If you have nowhere to host your blog, it is a great place to start without having to spend a dime. They do not have a whole lot of templates though.

I preffer blogger because it is free and there is no limit to visitors like wordpress. If you have a shared host with WP you can only get a few visitors a day. It is your choice that which one you prefer more?
