First of all, "ease" is a very vague and relative term and the ease of learning something or doing something will vary from person to person. What is easy for Mr. A may look difficult to Mr. B and vice versa.
Let me give an example from my own life. Back in my school days a friend called Sanu was learning drums. He also instilled his interest in playing drums unto me, and I soon found myself trying my hands in his drum kit under his guidance. I tried learning drums for quite some time, and realized that this is not my cup of tea. My foot stops when my hands move and vice versa. I stopped learning drums.
Few months later, I was impressed by seeing a djembe performance and decided to learn it. I bought one immediately. Also, I found no good teacher nearby and started playing djembe the way I liked. I found it easy, and fun. I also started learning the basics of Tabla and incorporating the Indian rhythm patterns into African and Latin American folk rhythms. After years, I realized I do not play the instrument the way it is played or should be played, but I never regretted it. If you have the output right, the input method doesn't matter.
What I tried to convey so far is, do not believe anyone saying X is easier to play than Y. If you do not have a profound interest in learning that instrument, you will shortly quit. Do not start learning an instrument just because of the craze over it, either. If you feel at ease handling an instrument, it its sounds appeal to your heart, you should learn it. Personally, I do not found harmonicas to sound great, and I know I will never learn that instrument, whatever people may talk about it.

You should not go behind easy factor. What you should consider is where your interest lies in. Only if you have an interest towards a particular instrument or to the music produced by that instrument, you can learn it quickly. Anything will look difficult if you have no interest towards it. So, firstly you recognise where your interest lies and then choose accordingly.
I have heard that it is difficult o learn voiolin, guitar and all and I know many friends of mine, who have started it and then had to quit.

I think I can tell you the answer. I am myself a mouth organ, keyboard player; drummer and presently learning to play Flute. I think the easiest one among all of these is mouth organ. Guitar I think is the toughest of all. I till now am not able to learn it, because it requires coordination of your fingers and hands. Mouth organ on the other hand requires on the blowing and drawing wind into the correct hole on it. Wind instruments like Flute, Mouth Organ, etc. are easier to learn. If you have a basic knowledge of playing Keyboard (Casio, then they'll not be tough to learn. I have myself learnt to play harmonica well in a time of 2 months. You can refer to the below given link, I have learnt from that only. You can buy a 10-hole harmonica, it is the cheapest and the easiest to learn. If will cost you around 500-600 Rupees. Otherwise try out learning flute, it is also easy and cheaper than harmonica.

Are you really serious about learning musical instruments? If yes, then which musical instruments you have interest in.
You can learn to play any musical instrument but most important is your 'interest' towards music and musical instruments. If you do not have interest you may feel difficult playing on any instrument. Secondary comes 'time' even if you have deep interest and if you do not have proper time to practice you may again find it difficult to learn. Music is a feeling, apart from interest and time you will have to feel it from your heart. Only hard work will not be enough here.
Come to your point now, there are different kinds of musical instrument with different shape. Keyboard is a flat instrument compare to other. Here you have to sit/stand and play with your fingers on flat keys. As you said you have some idea about playing on Casio so, you may find it easier playing on a keyboard. Apart from that if you can afford you can learn playing piano also (keys are flat same like keyboard). Decide it once and follow the learning method. Please do not waste your time on easy and difficult. It will be always advisable to learn with proper tutor initially so that you can learn with proper finger techniques.

I feel that most of the people are choosing Guitar or keyboard to learn. Many of my friends told that these instruments are not much tough to learn. Now I am practising Violin, I feel that its bit difficult to play violin and need continuous practise on this instrument.

Nothing can be easy. You need to put in hard work and determination. But still, among all the musical instruments, the easiest to master is a mouth-organ.

You can easily learn any of the musical instruments. But it's all about your learning skill and capability. It also depends upon your family back ground that which type of musical instruments are being use by your family members and siblings. The art of playing of musical instruments is mostly depending upon your interest. You can not become a good instrument player if you choose it on the basis of ease. So choose the musical instrument on the basis of your interest. You can easily become the master of the one.

Hi I can give you some suggestions. When I was in fifth class I learned to play congo, harmonium and hand drum. When you learn these instruments then try to learn guitar and drum-set. You can learn all these in 1 year of regular practice. But most important thing is your interest in the job. If you have interest in playing any musical instrument then you can learn easily by putting some efforts. And the second most important thing is how much time you can spend in learning them. You can hire a tutor for learning your favorite instrument. And do follow the instructions given by your tutor. Then after some time you will get success in playing instruments of your choice.
