The violation of eBook sharing on sharing sites like 4shared, media fire, hot files etc or any cloud storage is depend on copyright liability of eBook to be shared means is it copyright protected or having free license for distribution?
If it is copyright protected eBook then you cannot share it anywhere because most copyright protected eBook publisher uses DRM technology (Digital Rights Management) by which digital content copyright is protected by restricting access & control of book it means to get access & control over eBook you have to purchase copy of eBook for which we get digital license for viewing, printing & reading the eBook.
Sharing eBook creates duplicate copy which creates losses for main author in terms of making money for his hard work behind whole book and increases duplicate copies which increase day by day as gets downloaded by various users for which he/she will not get money. So sharing any copyright material is violation & sole responsibility of sharer for lawsuit
Act of file sharing on file hosting sites & cloud storage is legal but it becomes illegal when someone shares copyright protected material & violates the copyright law.
If you want to share mechanical engineering books with your friends then it is better to provide direct download link on your personal blog for the eBook you want to share. If you had downloaded all those eBooks from other online sources then there is definitely no need of wasting money by uploading & consuming valuable data plan.

Hi Paresh,
If you have good visitors traffic for blog then you can write good content about eBook in your blog and provide website link of ebook where that ebook is available for download . If at all there is no website for that ebook then I would suggest to put your email id in blog and reply as per request. If Ebook has copyright then it will illegal and risky. So always prefer private way to communicate instead of public distribution.
