It is always advisable to begin with low-cost startup business ideas. Few business ideas with low investments are as under: -Start doing online stock trading from home or by setting up BSE/NSE terminals. -Start taking tuitions for school students or college students in the area of your expertise. You may even visit their homes to give tuitions, which would mean no investment required. -Prepare a travel website online and tie-up with some offline travel agent for flight bookings, bus bookings, train bookings, holiday packages, honeymoon packages, mobile recharge, DTH recharge, etc. -Hire a small place and start classes for programming languages like C, C++, Java, PHP, HTML, etc. by recruiting IT professionals on part-time basis (may be only weekends). -Hire a small place and a big screen projector to show LIVE telecast of cricket matches, football matches, final episodes of popular reality TV shows, etc. -Start a small sandwich parlour with unique varieties of sandwiches. -Start a gaming parlour by buying some Xboxes and Wiis.
One can start with multiple ideas listed above at the same time. It is always safe to have 3-4 different sources of income rather than relying completely on only one.
