One can download membership application from their site and can become a member. All major individuals can become a member. Now they are registering online for volunteers. They are proposing to start local officer at all the levels from village to city (District) levels.
One may have to approach local offices to become a full fledged member by paying some prescribed fee and submitting prescribed application.

The announcement of launching of political party by Arvind Kejrival was made on October 2, 2012 after his split with Anna Hazare and his former associate Kiran Bedi who did not support the Arvind Kenrival's views on forming a political party. Then at a meeting was held of about 300 founding members. The name Aam Aadmi of the party proposed by Arvind Kejrival was accepted at this meeting. Mayank Gandhi proposed the constitution of the party which was seconded by Chanramohan. The name Aam Aadmi met with a lot of criticism from Digvijay Singh Manish Tewari of the Congress. The party is said to have a vision of swaraj that Gandhiji had thought of for free India. Some of the elections promises of the party if voted to power include right to reject, right to recall and passing of Lok Pal within 15 days of coming to power. The party got a support from India Against Corruption and the former law minister Shanti Bhushan was the first to donate Rs. one crore to the party and the people collected Rs.1.6 lakh on the day of its formation i.e November 26, 2012. While addressing the members IAC and his supporters, Anna Hazare announced that he would examine the backgrounds of the candidates of Aam Aadmi Party and he would support the candidates with good qualities and would even campaign for them. Baba Ram Dev also supported the party.
At the national executive committee meeting held at New a while ago the members of the executive committee discussed the future course of action and the ways to run the party. It was also decided to form sub-committees to fix their attention on the party's stand on various issues.
Fro enrolling as member of the party, you have to go to the official website of the party aamaadmiparty.org. Go the menu item 'Gallery & downloads' and from the dropdown menu click on the E documents. This will open a window for membership details. Here you have to follow three simple steps.
Step 1 – You have to fill up the details in the given form.
Step 2 – After filling up the details, Click on the submit button and also take a print out the icon of which will be visible after you click on the submit button.
Step 3 – You have to submit the print out along with a postal order of Rs.10 to the party's office of your city (if already established) or direct to the national office of the party at 1004, Shivalik Lines, Kaushambi, Gaziabad, UP, 201010.
In the form, you have to give simple details like our name, father's / husband's name. gender, age, house no., address, state, district, personal mobile number and email address.

The latest news is that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will be conducting a membership recruitment drive. Known as 'Mein Bhi Aam Aadmi' drive, it will start on January 10th and will continue up to January 26th 2014.
