Dear friend,
You have not mentioned you have chosen which subjects after 10th std, Arts, Commerce or Science(medical/non-medical)stream. Without the information about your basic subjects how can we suggest the courses to you.

If you have Science stream, try for competitive exams for Medical and engineering colleges. You may try for computers courses in various institutes.

If you have commerce group, try for CA or Bank related courses.

First decide what you want to become. If you think just making money is your priority then remember whichever field you may choose, it will require your interest and dedication. You cannot earn big by doing nothing. So you better choose a field of your interest so that you may give your 100% in it. Competition is everywhere so never be afraid of it.

It is very good news that you have passed your higher secondary examination this year and want to pursue a higher course of education. First of all, I must guide you that we should not blindly take up a course because it has been suggested by someone else. The better guidance from others will be available more appropriately if you tell them your level of intelligence. Even if you do not want to reveal your score, you must let the experts know whether you are a below average, average or an above average student. Secondly, you must inform others what subjects you had learnt in your higher secondary examination in which subjects most interested you and in which you usually got more marks. To answer your question which is very vaguely asked, the others must assess your standard of achievement. For career planning, self assessment if very important without which it is difficult to proceed forward.

The selection of course after you have passed your higher secondary examination will depend on the aptitude you have for a particular stream of course. In most cases, it will depend upon your marks scored in particular subjects. In case you are not very good at studies and do not have any aptitude for commerce and science, you are advised to take up a degree course with subjects consisting of political science, history, public administration etc. While doing your degree, keep on preparing for the competitive examinations held by Union Public Service Commission, Staff Selection Board, Railway boards, the Banking Selection Boards, National Defence Academy etc. and do not leave a chance if you are selected. You can always complete your studies by appearing privately or learn through distance education learning centres.

In case your interest is in commerce, you can choose one of the options from chartered accountancy (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants, Costs and Works accountant from Institute of Cost and Works Accountancy (ICWA), or you can simply select graduation courses like the BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration), B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce), five years integrated MBA course, banking courses, bachelor of business management (BBM). You can take up a course to become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

There are also other courses like the Fashion Technology from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Hotel Management and Housekeeping courses, B. Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy). You can take up any of the courses relating to computer technology, if computer science is your interest.

In case, science is your interest, then there are many courses after intermediate which might make you an engineer or a doctor or a scientist. You can take up any B.Sc. course including honours course in B.Sc. These courses may include a variety of subject beginning from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry to Bio-chemistry, Bio-medical, botany, computers, food technology, geology, home science, microbiology, Polymer sciences, statistics, nutrition, environmental studies, agriculture including animal husbandry, veterinary science, dairy and poultry courses, architecture, engineering with specialisation in computers, information technology etc., oceanography and specialised courses in computer software, hardware, marketing and operation.

For many of the courses mentioned herein you have to score minimum laid down marks in the entrance examinations whether held centrally or by the states.
