You did not mention your percentage in your query. You might have known that most of the IT giants prefer students with a percentage greater than 60.
Technical, communication, interpersonal skills play a major role in securing you a job with better figures.
The cut off percentage differs from one company to other and some don't prefer candidates with backlogs. Most of the MNCs conduct three rounds to select the best candidates.
Here the candidate's english proficiency is tested and questions will be mainly of aptitude type.
They go deep into the subject and test your skills in the particular subject and programming.
This is final round and you will be posed general questions and they expect effective and genuine answers from you.
Besides you should also be up to date with the programming languages like java, oracle, dot net etc.
You may also know the MNC recruitment news from various sites like timesjobs, com, monsterindia.com, naukari.com etc.

As you mentioned that are going to complete B.Tech next year, that is very good. According to me you have to give interview in MNC for securing the good job in your field. With B.Tech you can apply for any job related to your field, anywhere in the world. With the job you can support yourself, your family and can do the study too.
If you want to pursue higher study then you can use the option of distance education. Now in India there are many good universities which are providing the facility of distance education for higher study.
Higher study all depends upon you if you are financially strong then you can do the higher study. Qualification always matter for getting the good job.

Computer Science and Engineering is a vast field where you have many opportunities. Few among them are
3. Software etc.
You need to have a appreciable percentage to get into any of the interviews of any MNC. You need to take care of these too.
1. You should decide whether what is your taste. If you found it, then things are easier.
2. Suppose you failed in figuring out your field of interest. Then you should get into any of the jobs in computer science field which will help you to solve this.
So it will be better you find your interest and then decide to go on for any further studies. Usually students will find very hard to know about this as soon as they get out of their studies. So I suggest you to get into a job first and understand that which field suits you the most. To get into a good company, as mentioned above you should get the cut off score of the company. The steps to be taken care of:
1. Practice good english.
2. Practice mental ability and verbal questions.
3. Understand how to crack the Group discussion round.
4. Analyse and solve previous year screening question papers that companies ask.
5. While attending an interview, be in a formal appearance.
6. Try to get into a good company without any bond.
Best wishes to you.
