Hi Buddy,
Put a little mustard oil over the plastic vessel & keep it for some time in hot sun. Then use a clean cloth to rub it gently & clean.
This is a tested method, so you can try for it.
Regards,
Manas

The plastic vessels are of different kinds, that used to store food grains, that used in microwaves and that used to store water.
Let me go one by one: Water bottles and jugs: This needs daily cleaning. Before filling up of water, clean it up with a bottle cleaning brush dipped in diluted cleaning liquid. Wash it off thoroughly.at Rinse thrice so that the detergent doesnot stay back. Let it dry for a few mins. Before filling up water rinse it again with luke warm water and then fill up water. If you are refrigerating that bottle, avoid using luke warm water for rinsing instead rinse it with normal water.
Storage Containers If it is a Tupperware container, then you can wipe of the exterior every week with a cloth dipped in mild liquid detergent and clean the entire container, once in a month. But if it is not Tupperware, then clean it regularly before filling up something in that. Wash it with diluted liquid cleaner, rinse it thoroughly, and keep it in shade for a few mins. Wipe it with a clean cloth both inside and outside and then can fill it with what ever you have decided to store.
Microwave cooking Utensils Plastic containers are not advisable to use cooking in microwave unless and untill it is specified so clearly that they are microwave ready. Other wise it can be used to reheat the food. Such utensils can be cleaned with diluted liquid wash soap and rinsed thoroughly and wiped with a clean cloth.

Hi, It depends on what kind of vessels you are talking about. I mean the dirt or the marks they have or any other stickiness we are discussing here. So let me tell you that if oil marks with turmeric has been left on these plastic vessels, and the vessel has been left for 7-8 hours or more, without washing, the marks will become permanent and will fade with regular wash. But won't vanish completely. Another important tips would be, that if there are some immediate washings say within an hour or so, then its always suggestible to leave the vessel in a big tub or bucket full of warm water mixed with 2-3 bottle cups full of vinegar, and leave for some time, say 15to 30 minutes. The marks will fade, and then wash with detergent, don't rub the plastic vessel with too much of steel scrubber. It won't help much, but just will make scratches to your vessels. The other kind of plastic vessels dirtiness could be the stickiness, which is caused because of these vessels are lying on roof top or somewhere in the kitchen where it catches too much of dirt, and slowly this dirt makes layer on the vessels. So this creates stickiness and the vessels get spoiled. So to remove these stains you need to spend good time, put these vessels into hot water with one two lemon juices drops, vinegar, mild detergent and if possible some shampoo drops. This is really a simple trick. Leave it for 20-30 minutes and then scrub lightly with the sponge side of scotch brite. This will remove all the dirt and stickiness. Thanks
