In my opinion it is the toddler years (2-3 years) are the most formative years in a child's life.
But the opinion varies from person to person.

we said that child is like a god .yes, really yes
because god is taking test of parents through child that how parents teach the children.
i have suggest you very creative and precious knowledge
chadkya says that age between 1 to 10 .we should love children and teach them how to behave and what is bad and what is wrong.
age between 11 to 16 we treat like a guru and elder.chadkya said that if you want slap children for his fault then slap him. because its necessary in that age.
many parents don't teach about vulgarity, nudity which is really bad .
we should teach that love should be after age of 21 because this is a kalyuge .many of them find physical relation instead of love because they don't know what is love.and teach them physical relation should be after marriage is good and cultural too.
chadkya says that age after 16 we should treat with them like a friends.

Hi dude,
Its a nice question.In my opinion,its the teen age which reflects in the future of a child.
Because teenage is the age in which one gets explicitly changed mainly due to the surroundings.
This is the age especially boys and girls get attracted to each other resulting in many circumstances.
The ones in the teenage don't care or even think what their parents taught them.One must be experienced to understand or to know the truth of what is happening in this age.
