Cosmetic surgery is performed for enhancing beauty of an individual, while the normal surgery is to correct any problems due to any disease condition or injury. We can correct any defects on the face or body through cosmetic surgery.
Cosmetic surgery is a branch of plastic surgery.

The main kind of cosmetic surgery is performed by the cosmetic surgeons are,
1. Liposuction – removal of fat from the body.
2. Rhinoplasty – brings shapes to nose.
3. Mammoplasty – reshaping of breast. This includes reduction or augmentation of the breast. There are different surgeries in mammoplasty for both males and females.
4. Abdominoplasty – this gives shapes to the abdominal muscles.
5. Chemical peel – this procedure helps to clear the skin by removing pimples and spots on the skin.
6. Otoplasty – correction of ears.
7. Rhytidectomy – removal of wrinkles from facial skin.

Yes. A cosmetic surgeon can make a face or any body part beautiful and attractive, but it's a costly and risky procedure.

Cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery are the two branches of Plastic surgery.

Types of Cosmetic surgeries:
Cosmetic surgery can be performed on any part of the face and body.

(A) Face related Cosmetic surgeries:
Blepharoplasty - Also called as Eyelid surgery. It applies a permanent eyeliner.
Rhinoplasty - Also called as Nose job. It helps reshaping the patient's nose.
Otoplasty - Also called as Ear surgery. It involves pining the ear closer to the head. It usually used for: Protruding ears, large ear and abnormal shaped ear.
Rhytidectomy - Also called as Face lift. It removes wrinkles surgically. So patient's looks more younger.
browplasty - Also called as Brow lifter forehead lift. It rises drooping eyebrow or removed forehead wrinkles.
Other popular surgeries are: Chin augmentation, cheek augmentation etc.

(B) Body related Cosmetic surgeries:
Abdominoplasty - Also called as Tummy tuck. It reshapes and firms the lower and middle abdomen.
Liposuction - Also known as fat modeling. Fat is surgically removed from various sections of the body.
Labiaplasty - Also called as Labia reduction. It reduces elongated labia.
Mastopexy - Also called as Breast lift. It rises the breast, giving them a more youthful look.
Mammoplasty - It includes Breast enlargement and breast reduction.
Gynecomastia - Also called as Male breast reduction. It is useful when a man have abnormally large mammary glands
