AICTE approval is not mandatory. If the course you are persuing, has been approved by UGC, you would not face problem in joining any Govt / Private job. Even you can take up higher studies. However, a course must be recognised from the UGC side. Any deviation on that account would cause ultimate derecognition of the course.
AICTE examines the following points -
1) Whether the institutions follow the minimum strength of staff.
2) Does the institute provide sufficient infrastructure to sustain all the projects/ practicals?
3) Do the teaching staffs have the minimum qualification to be able to carry out teaching ?
4) Frequency of conducting of Practical/ Project classes.
Approval from AICTE of any technical - degree indicates the quality of education being maintained throughout the course.
AICTE does not have any role in the course - approval.
