Frankly speaking we don't have much of a excelled growth in this field in our country but professorship is always an option , if you are passionate enough and really want to go for this try to do masters in environment science

Wild life related courses are not much encouraged in India.
So, if you have actually great passion , then only go for this.

There are very few colleges and universities are offering this course in India and career scopes are limited to Wild Life conservation offices, zoos, Forestry department etc.
No doubt that this field has a lot to do but the back support is lacking and that is the reason that young generation is avoiding this.

Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun , Uttarakhand, is the most reputed institute which offers Master's in Wildlife Science course of 2 years duration, in India.
In my opinion, this course is most suitable who wants to join Indian Forest Service after qualifying IFS examination conducted by the UPSC and also in State Forest Services Examination. Definitely the students of this Institute may get advantage during the interview as they are the students of the relevant field.
The students of these institutes can also seek employments in NGOs and various pharmaceutical companies like Dabur, Himalaya, etc.
