The law of granting citizenship to babies born to non resident parents is not alike in all the countries. Some countries grant the citizenship while the others don't to the babies born to non residents.

USA and Canada are the developed nations which grant the citizenship to babies born to non residents. Lot of nations don't provide citizenship on the basis of birth, examples are India, Singapore, France, Greece, Hong Kong, China, Cameroon and a lot more.

Specifically, Middle east countries don't provide citizenship to babies born to Non residents.

Hope I answered the question !! Cheers
