IT certification enhances the chance of your employability in IT sector. These may be chosen depending upon your inclination and interest in a particular domain. Oracle, Java and Micro Soft Solution are the most promising areas where certification course can be undertaken.
On the other hand there are tremendous prospects in the Net Work Engineering. The modules in this line is Micro Certified Solutions Expert, Cisco Certified Network Professional, Soft Ware Testing etc.
In whatever direction you proceed, you must be prudent enough to apply the chosen tool effectively. So, with the proficiency in an assigned field, you should have a fair command in English to express your views before the Board of Interview.

There are different types of entry level jobs. Depending on where you wish to work the certification and the training differs. In case if you wish to work in back-office for some sales and accounts, in such case having education in that helps. In that PowerPoint and excel mastery is required. Also you should have good English communication if you wish to have salary hike and choose to climb ladder.

I suggest having knowledge of excel, ms office, photoshop at your disposal. Also you should consider knowing atleast one programming language. This comes in handy if you choose to work on programming jobs.

Also there are other routes to approach for entry level IT jobs.
