Best career option after BSc (Math)

Date: 14 Jan 2016   Posted By: Bhaskar Islam     Group: Education    Category: India Educational Consultants

My brother has completed Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 2013 but is not eligible for professional degree like MBA/MCA due to less marks. Currently he is preparing for Government/Banking job exams. Apart from this, what would be the other alternative career prospects? Awaiting response/guidance from experts.

Dear Bhaskar,

Sir , Where are you from ? What are the other Subjects Other than Mathematics in your Degree

why I am asking is In A.P/T.S states for writing I.C.ET examination it is nothing to do with Degree Marks if it is, alternatively do M.Sc mathematics and you have not mentioned the Other Subjects which you can do a master degree.

There is a unconventional way of doing M.C.A in Christian Machinery colleges you have to pay more fees in those machinery colleges and another option is Open Universities are there for you

As per my view, after the completion of B.Sc mathematics you can opt for B.Ed. After completion of the course you can join as a teacher in any private school or you may start your coaching classess. Nowadays coaching classes are more popular and fetch you good earning as well. In the meantime, you can prepare for CTET. Once you passed this exam means you are eligible for Government teachers. Seocondly, if you have no financial problem, then you may opt for M.Sc mathematics. I hope choosing teaching profession will give you better option for your livelihood.

There are a lot of demand of Teachers in Mathematics in both schools and coaching centres engaged in offering specialised coaching to the aspirants for Engineering. So, you need to acquire a B.Ed degree so as to be absorbed in a High- school. With the passage of time, your experience would be very valuable to you in terms of earnings. You can take up tuitions of the students of different classes in your convenient time after school - hours. You may form a batch of students comprising eight to ten depending upon your convenience.
You may take up M.Sc course in Mathematics if you desire so. In that way, you can widen your chance of employability in both Reasearch and Teaching areas.
The other areas are Banking and LIC jobs which can be grabbed with a meticulous preparation.
There are varied options before you, only a serious consideration is required.
